We are looking for a Claims Negotiator to assist with the management of claims on multiple accounts within the Motor Hub, aggregate management (where mandated) and reporting on claims stats.
The ideal candidate is someone who will:
- Establish & maintain relationships with clients to gain an understanding of their business and claims history.
- Provide clients with a full claims service, keeping them timeously updated on the status of their claims.
- Form close working relationships with administrators, insurers, and service providers.
- Register and attend to claims according to the relevant binder agreement and internal mandates.
- Ensure that all relevant information on the claim is captured accurately and has a keen eye for attention to detail!
- Negotiate settlements with Insurers on behalf of client and prepare the necessary releases and payment requisitions.
- Be accountable for timeous submission of all relevant reports and stats for the monthly claims meetings Handle the day-to-day queries and manage suppliers in terms of SLA’s (if applicable)
- Understand & acknowledge the importance of a customer-centric business approach and treating customers fairly.
- Have the ability to problem solve, be proactive and rather than waiting on instruction, be able to think on their feet.
- Be honest, reliable, self-motivated individual who can work under pressure, multi-task and meet required deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric Minimum of 3 years working in a short-term insurance role, with at least 1 years’ experience in a claims position
